Also, I feel the quality in this episode (13) was a little lacking. Maybe I watch too much animation, but the face proportions and drawing have been very clean and consistent. The drawing problems I'm seeing are amateurish, and I'm guessing it's because of an action sequence or something. They had action sequences before that were twice the quality of this one. So I guess the new animators need to get their act together. -.-;; I mean, the change of opening means it's a new season, right? ._.

Hmm, I understand what your saying about the animation, and it is a point to remember that episode 13 is pretty much constant action xD, so trying to animate it in the same time frame as an episode with half as much action causes a slight decline in animation i guess, but i supose they are expecting you to look at the big set pieces rather than the fine details maybe? =]
Its like some of the earlier big Naruto fights, they were so low on detail, but made up for it with constant action, and smooth transitions, cant get the best of both worlds i guess =S
Most 24-26 episode anime seasons i have watched tend to change the intro 12-14 episodes in, but i guess most of the content in the first intro has been seen in the episodes now, so they need a new one to convey where it is going
